What we collect
Numbers you type into the tools stay in your browser on your device. They are not sent to us unless you choose to email your results.
When you email your results or join the waitlist, we receive your email address, the tool you used and a short summary of your results.
When you create an account, we store your email address, the entries you make in the tools (so they work on any device) and the results you choose to save.
When you talk to a CA, your questions, the documents you attach, the figures you choose to share from the tools and the reports prepared for you are stored in your account and read by the BI-Outsource CA team to answer you. Files are kept in a private folder that is not reachable from the web.
If you are in Singapore or the UAE, we handle your information in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and the UAE's Federal Decree-Law 45 of 2021 on personal data protection, as they apply to you, as well as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Your information is processed by the BI-Outsource team in India, Singapore and the UAE, and stored with our hosting provider. You have the same rights to see, export and delete it.
When you book a Virtual CFO call, we keep your name, email, phone, business name, business type, turnover band, preferred slot and any note you add, so a CA can call you and quote. This is used only for that call and is deleted after 3 years, or earlier if you ask or delete your account.
When you pay, Razorpay processes your payment; we never see your card or bank details. We keep invoices for as long as tax law requires, even if you delete your account.
Why we use it
To send you the results you asked for, tax deadline reminders you agreed to, and news about BI CFO. We do not sell your data.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use. It sets cookies and receives your IP address and device details, but not the numbers you enter into our tools or your email address. You can block it with your browser's privacy settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or 3 years after your last contact, whichever comes first.
Where it is stored
On servers in our hosting provider's data centres, protected by encryption in transit. Only BI-Outsource staff who run BI CFO can access it.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can see, correct or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Signed-in users can download their data or delete their account from the account page. Reply "unsubscribe" to any email to stop emails. For other requests, write to cfo@bioutsource.com.
Clearing your browser data
To remove the numbers stored on your device, clear this site's data in your browser settings.
